The Coventry University Research Hootenanny is a vibrant mix of activities to showcase research excellence at Cov Uni, to celebrate our researchers’ successes and to explore new ways to undertake and to share research locally, nationally and internationally.
This year’s Hootenanny is all about showcasing ‘Exploring Research Culture: the what, the who, the how, the why.’

The theme of ‘research culture’ will mean the Hootenanny can be a space to really explore What is it? Who is included? How do we create it? Why is it important? As well as highlighting and exploring the role of equality, diversity & inclusion. There will be a variety of online workshops and webinars for you to attend including:
- Alternative Guide to Postgraduate Funding (Tues)
- Outstanding Supervision Team of the Year (Weds)
- Trials & Tribulations Series
- Research Skills workshops
