Chairing a Viva – April 2023

This course is suitable for Research Staff who wish to be Viva Chairs.
Course outline:
This course is fully online and is required in order to be able to chair a Viva.
To meet the attendance requirements for this course you must complete BOTH the online tasks and participate in the Zoom session. Online tasks will run asynchronously from 3rd April 2023 – 14th April 2023. The Zoom session will be held 19th April 2023.
The overall time required to successfully complete this course is estimated to be around 3.5 – 4 hours.
In order to be eligible for this course, it is recommended that you have been an internal examiner for a Coventry University research degree at least once and be an experienced research supervisor.
Please liaise with your Research Centre PGR Lead before booking on this event.
