Who is this course for?

Research Staff who wish to be PRP Chairs

Course outline:  

This course is fully online and is required to be completed in order to be a able to chair a Progress Review Panel (PRP).

To meet the attendance requirements for this course you must complete BOTH the online tasks in your own time (from 9th January 2023 – 20th January 2023) and participate in the Zoom session (27th January 2023 1pm – 2:30pm). If you do not have one full completion as DoS at Coventry University you will also be required to shadow 2 PRP Chairs after the online course. This will be arranged by ReCap.

The overall time required to successfully complete this course is estimated to be around 3.5 – 4 hours.

Please liaise with your Research Centre PGR Lead before booking on this event.

How to register:  

Register for this event by selecting 1 participant under RSVP and completing the information required.   

Please RSVP only ONCE using your Coventry University email address without the ‘uni.’ (example@coventry.ac.uk) and check your registered email for confirmation (be sure to check your junk folder). 

You are expected to attend the full session, arriving promptly for the start and ensure that you do not have any other meetings at the same time. If you are no longer able to attend, please do let us know by emailing RECAP@coventry.ac.uk.  

If you have any requests for reasonable adjustments to ensure you can make the most of your development opportunity, such as large print, paper/slide colour etc, please do let us know by emailing RECAP@coventry.ac.uk. All requests are treated in strict confidence.

All participants who have signed up to the course will receive an automated confirmation email and an email on the day the course starts which will include further information about how to join.
