Session Description  

Do you have a strategy in place to enable a successful transition from PhD into a career in academia? Have you explored alternative career paths? A doctoral qualification is increasingly enabling access to a wide range of opportunities, particularly if you are able to demonstrate the experience, knowledge and skills – and increasingly, strengths and motivations required by employers. The market for jobs in both academia and other sectors is highly competitive, necessitating action planning in advance, a strategic job search and developing ways in which you can positively differentiate yourself from the competition.

How do I register? 

Register for this event by selecting 1 participant under RSVP and completing the information required.  

Please RSVP only ONCE using your Coventry University email address without the ‘uni.’ (example@coventry.ac.uk) and check your registered email for a confirmation email. 

Booking Confirmation  

This event will be in an online format. The meeting URL will be sent out the day before the event to those who have signed up. 

Booking Closing Date: 

Sign up for this event will close at 10:00am the last working day preceding the event.
