The new version of NVivo, v12.1.1, will be released on AppsAnywhere by the end of July 2019.
The ‘work offline model’ will be enabled and cache set to expire day at more than 380 days. This means that after you have launched NVivio from the AppsAnywhere once that you will be able to use NVivo without an internet connection and won’t have to re-connect to the network every 3 months in order to keep it active.
It is recommended that all staff and PGR use Nvivo via AppsAnywhere instead of using the stand alone version. ITS will probably stop releasing new versions in the stand alone format.
The Windows 10 upgrade project has been completed. In anyone is still using Windows 7 and couldn’t upgrade to Windows 10, please log a IT support call/visit the support desk to request manual installation.
