Session Description:

This short presentation offers a no-nonsense look at the PhD Career path and beyond, and lays out the importance of a 5 year plan. Dr Ali Jones from the Centre for Trust Peace and Social Relations will discuss the importance of long term planning and identify key milestones that you should plan to achieve in order to be competitive on the academic job market.

All attendees are highly encouraged to read ‘The Professor Is In’ by Karen Kelsky in preparation. Attendees should plan to begin creating a plan during and after the presentation, so please identify a planning format (paper diary, google calendar, outook calendar, etc.,) that you prefer in advance.

How do I register? 

Register for this event by selecting 1 participant under RSVP and completing the information required.
