Introduction to Qualitative Research

This online workshop will be delivered by Dr Tanvir Ahmed, Doctoral College and Centre for Research Capability and Development

Session Description  

This workshop is suitable for PGRs and Staff who are new to qualitative approach and want to use this approach in near future. The session will provide a basic understanding of the philosophical background and process of qualitative research, methods of data collection and participant selection, and ways of maintaining trustworthiness in research. The expectation is that participants will be able to gain the basic understanding of qualitative research to facilitate more independent learning and use.
