BYOD: Let’s write a plan with DMPonline

This in-person workshop is part of the Becoming a Professional Researcher Themed Week

Session Description  

This session is more suited to PGRs who are  about to embark on data collection/storage etc. (i.e. late Stage phase 1/phase 2)

This session will be a workshop of two halves.  Firstly, the session will provide a brief recap of the information from the RDM workshops that took place during the first year Becoming a Professional Researcher programme, covering an overview on the management of research data, and why data management plans are important during the research process. The second half of the workshop will engage participants in starting the creation of a Data Management Plan, using the online tool DMPonline.  Utilising the tool will aid participants in the considerations that they may need to face in the planning and management of their postgraduate research, ensuring that data are kept appropriately during active research and remain accessible in the long-term.
