Dual Award PGR Supervisor Information Session

Hybrid Format

This information session will be both online and in-person. It is being led by the Doctoral College Collaborative Programmes Team and is aimed at all PGR Supervisors, but particularly those who are currently supervising, or who intend to supervise PGR on one of our collaborative programmes.

The session will provide an overview of the University’s current collaborative doctoral provision with a focus on our dual award PhD programmes (where PGR are working towards an award from both Coventry University and the Partner University).

The session will cover some key principles of supervising on a dual award programme, but will also cover some specific examples from our largest dual award partners such as Deakin University (Australia) and Stellenbosch University (South Africa).

How to register:

Register for this event by selecting 1 participant under RSVP and completing the information required.

Please RSVP only ONCE using your Coventry University email address (example@coventry.ac.uk) and check your registered email for confirmation (be sure to check your junk folder). Please do not worry if your confirmation email does not arrive. A calendar invite will be sent one week and one day prior to the event, which will include the location and the online link.

Sign up for this event will close at 10am on Tuesday 18th October 2022.

All participants who have signed up to the event will receive a calendar invite approximately a week prior to the event. A final calendar invite will be sent out on the day before the event.
