September (Various) HEED’s three-part webinar series, ‘People, Policy and Innovation’

Coventry University’s HEED project is hosting a three-part webinar series throughout September 2021. These webinars build upon HEED’s work by engaging key energy stakeholders in discussions on co-creation, innovation and policy in the humanitarian energy field. This series has been designed to challenge and engage multi-level stakeholder’s who are central to solving the humanitarian energy access challenge. The webinar series will take place throughout September 2021, and will showcase HEED’s work and engage high-level partners in the humanitarian energy field.

2 September 2021: Moving from the Global to the Local: Co-creation for Humanitarian Energy

9 September 2021: Humanitarian Innovation: “Move fast and break things…?”

23 September 2021: Future-proofing Humanitarianism: Actioning policy and strengthening governance

7 September, 11.00am, Four E’s Repeat Workshop ‘Putting the Strategy into Practice’

We are pleased to invite you to the final Four E’s (Excellence, Engagement, Enhancement, Environment) Research Strategy Delivery Group workshop, taking place on Tuesday 7 September at 11am via Zoom. Elena, Neil, Nigel and Sally welcome the entire research community to attend the workshop and help shape the Four E’s elements of the 2030 Research Strategy through this interactive event. The event will provide a repeat of the workshop which took place on Monday 2 August, welcoming the entire research community, including those who wish to contribute further (i.e. attend an alternative break out room), and those who missed out on the previous workshop. The event will begin with a brief recap on the Four E’s and will then break out into four smaller rooms, each representing one of the Four E’s; Excellence, Engagement, Enhancement and Environment. Each break out room session will kick start with pre-set questions and facilitators will open the floor to all attendees to discuss thoughts and gather feedback. Colleagues will then return for a plenary session to share their feedback, the workshop will conclude with a final Q&A.

29 September, 13.00pm, Transdisciplinary Research (TDR) Event: Building Excellence in Research Communities

On Wednesday 29 September 2021, Coventry University’s Senior Research Leadership Team alongside keynote speakers, invite the entire internal and external research community, from Early Career Researchers through to Professors, to attend this event which seeks to spotlight the benefits offered by Transdisciplinary Research (TDR). This event will also look into how TDR can enhance research capabilities and outputs, alongside support in the development of thriving research networks.
