Coventry University’s PGR Twitter Conference with @CU_ReCap
Save the Date Monday 14th – Friday 18th September 2020
To kick-off the new academic year, the Doctoral College & Centre for Research Capability and Development will be hosting the first ever Coventry University PGR Twitter Conference #CovUniTweCon
Whilst we can’t all be together in person, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome the new postgraduate researchers that will be joining us this September whilst we also celebrate the successes of the PGRs who will be transitioning to the next phase of their programme.
Throughout the week long event we will be celebrating your achievements from 2019/20 and remembering the highlights from the year such as the Doctoral Capability and Development conference and the Research Hootenanny. We will also be challenging PGRs to share their research to the Twitterverse in our first Tweet your Thesis competition.
Join us on Twitter by following @CU_ReCap and using #CovUniTweCon
New to Twitter? Or just unsure about using it?
Why not sign up for Ten Days of Twitter #CU10DoT which we are running from 7 – 18 September? We will explore Twitter together, focusing very practically and specifically on what Twitter can offer a researcher in higher education. During each of the Ten Days of Twitter a short article on a small aspect of Twitter will be posted on the #CU10DoT blog, to get you up and running and exploring what Twitter might offer you. You will be set a small task with instructions each day, which can be undertaken at any time.
Tweet your Thesis @CU_ReCap
The Doctoral College & Centre for research capability and Development invite you to engage us with your research via a maximum of 3 tweets.
During the conference, you are expected to tweet 3 times. Number your tweets 1/3, 2/3, 3/3, and end each message with #CovUniTweCon. Each tweet should be numbered and form a Twitter thread. Information on how to do this can be found using this link https://help.twitter.com/en/using-twitter/create-a-thread
