The Doctoral College and Centre for Research Capability and Development are delighted to announce that we will once again be holding a CU three minute thesis (3MT) competition.
Each year we invite Coventry University postgraduate researchers to sign up for CU 3MT. The Research Capability and Development team facilitate 3MT development workshops followed by rehearsal and feedback sessions in the build up to the competition. The heats and grand finale will take place during the week of CU Research Hootenanny, 18 – 22 January 2021.
What is the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) competition?
This is a popular competition held both nationally and internationally between universities. During the 3MT competition doctoral researchers talk about their research for 3 minutes only and a winner is selected by a panel of judges. The emphasis is on communicating research clearly and coherently to a non-specialist audience.
One winner will be selected from Coventry University and a video of their entry will be entered into the 2021 national competition hosted by vitae. Are you ready to have a go?
